familyroomtothedesiredlevel.Favorites

canalsobeplacedinapanelschedule.

WithFavorite Actions, panelscanbe

programmed to trigger ouputs upon

arminganddisarmingevents.

TheRooms featurelets users quickly

andeasilycreatephotocontrolpanelsfor

Z-Wavedevicesinroomsorareas.After

takingaphotoofthe roomorareawith

theirsmartphone or tablet, they create

“hotspots”on the photo thatcorrespond

toone or moreof the Z-Wavedevices

available.Thentheycanselectthatroom

fromtheappscreenandtouchanyhotspot

toaccessthecontrolsforthatdevice.

grammingheaderofanXTL™Series

SecuritySystem.

Adding devices to the home control

network is as simple as plugging in

themodule,andthenpluggingade-

vice into the module. Programming

thesystemtorecognizethenewde-

vicerequiresonlyafewbuttonpress-

es.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Users have remote control over their

thermostat. In addition to by-degree

temperaturecontrol,theycanalsoselect

Heat,Cool,Auto,FanorOff.

LIGHTING AND APPLIANCE

CONTROL

Taketotalcontrolofincandescent,

fluorescent and compact fluorescent

lightingwiththe738Zandanyofthewide

variety of third-party control modules.

Userscanselectplug-inmodulesorin-

wallswitches/dimmers.

Z-WaveLightControlPlug-InModule

Plugthemoduleintotheoutletandthe

lamp into the module. Once connected

and programmed, lights can simply be

turnedONorOFF,oradjustedtoanyde-

sired brightness in increments of 10%,

from10%to100%.

Z-Wave light control lamp module and

dimmerenableson/offanddimmingfor

incandescentlamps.

Appliance Module enables wireless

control of on/off for std incandescent

lamps, fluorescents, and small

appliances.

DOOR CONTROL

Byreplacingstandardmechanicallocks

with Z-Wave capable door locks, us-

ershaveabilitytoremotelylockorun-

locktheirdoors,andtoremotelycheck

the lock status. The panel can be pro-

grammed to change the lock status

basedonthealarmsystem.

Forexample,whenaresidentialsystem

issettoARMAway,thepanelwillarm

andcanalsodirecttheconnectedlocks

tolock.
